Hi, I’m Mahad Khurram.
Computer Engineering student at the University of Toronto, interested in software systems and robotics.
I’m in my second year and enrolled in the PEY Co-op program. My experience spans Node.js-based customer systems, Java robot controls, and a Linux home server that I deploy and maintain.
What I Work On
Software Systems
At Smart Matrix in Dubai, I contributed to queue management and kiosk software, working with senior engineers to turn customer feedback into interface and workflow changes.
Software internshipRobotics and Controls
As Head of Programming for FTC Team 22035, I developed Java robot controls and tuned PIDF control for a scoring arm whose extension changed the torque needed to hold position.
FTC robot projectLinux and Self-Hosting
I maintain an Ubuntu server with 4 TB of storage, media services, Nextcloud, network file sharing, and remote application access.
Home server projectOutside the Code
I’m involved in UTFR Driverless and UTMIST, tutor high-school mathematics and physics, and enjoy soccer. I’m interested in work that connects software with physical systems and real operational needs.
Let’s Connect
I’m seeking Summer 2027 internships in software engineering, systems, robotics, and embedded development.
